Verse of the day: Luke 18:22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
Thought for the day: Here is a rich young man who came to Jesus asking Him what should be done in order to inherit the eternal life. Jesus said to him, “as long as you hold on something in this world, you will not inherit eternal life.” It is true that we are saved, we live a life that pleases God, but we are tied to something that holds us from following Him. As long as we are tied to this world, we will be moving in circles. Let us release ourselves from the holds and follow Him. Remember, we don’t belong to this world and nothing of this world belongs to us.

Verse of the day: Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Thought for the day: Many of us are anxious to know how things are going to be. This anxiety causes great deal of concern that we become restless. The result of it is sleeplessness, disappointment, lack of interest, frustration and eventually we lose our health. Not only ourselves, it affects everyone around us. Once we pray about something and hand it over to God, we should patiently wait for Him to work it out for us. Our anxiety is not going to make it better or faster. Learn to rest in the Lord and live a life free of tension and anxiety.

Verse of the day: Zechariah 2:8 For thus says the LORD of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.
Thought for the day: The self protection ability of human eye is amazing. Eye lid never allows finger to touch the eye. The reflex mechanism built in our body makes the eye lid close for its safety. Such is the protection of God over His children. As long as you are a child of God, you are under the covering of God’s protection. Moment you go away from Him you are vulnerable to the attack of the enemy. Do you know that our God is so zealous of you and me? Not only had that He given His life for our redemption, but even today He rises against those who conspires their attack on us.

Verse of the day: Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Thought for the day: Oh…I am sure many of us are waiting for our visions to become real in our lives. But we don’t like to wait for a long time till we see it happening. But God says the vision is for an appointed time. I remember the poor carpenter who had to wait for hundred years before his vision came true. But when it came true all those who mocked at him realized that it was God who said that. It is not you alone who go through the process of waiting, there are many more waited patiently for God’s appointed time and saw the vision coming true. Our God is not a man to lie, He is God. Keep praying over it, keep preaching over it and keep dreaming over it, one day we will see it happening with our own eyes.

Verse of the day: Luke 5:2 and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets.
Thought for the day: After a catch, fishermen wash their nets and get ready for the next catch. This is one of the routines of their profession. But these fishermen standing at the lake of Gennesaret never realized that they were getting ready for the biggest catch ever in their lives. Probably they didn’t even know that they will never be doing this again. There came the moment in their lives. You may be wondering how long you need to do this boring task again and again. How long you need to continue in the same job? Do you feel that you got arrested within four walls and not able to move here and there? The moment came in the lives of Peter and their partners in an unexpected time, rather the appointed time of God, the kairos. Here is the good news for you today. That moment is not far from you; the Lord is already standing at the shore seeing your boat.
