Thought for the day Archive

Verse of the day: John 11:39 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”

Thought for the day: We see a huge difference in the perspectives. Martha saw a dead body behind the stone, whereas Jesus saw Lazarus alive and well behind the stone. Are you expecting a miracle from Jesus today? Look at the situation like the Master. It is not enough if we pray for a miracle. Our perspective towards hopeless situation, unsaved members of the family, medically incurable sickness, unsolvable issues within family, financial struggle need to change. A note of caution! Perspective alone will not help. Miracles will happen only if we obey the conditions required. Remember all the blessings come with a condition. Lazarus would not have come out of the tomb if no one would have obeyed and removed the stone.

Verse of the day: Psalm 104:4 Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.

Thought for the day: A flame can easily set a whole forest on fire. It spreads with might and vigor consuming anything that comes in contact with. God uses His servants in the same manner. They are sent with a purpose and authority to accomplish God’s will on earth. But remember, a flame cannot rise by itself unless something burns. Only sacrifice and prayer of a servant of God makes him or her a flame of fire. Not everyone who claims the call of God.

Verse of the day: Psalms 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge;

Thought for the day: Moment I read this verse what came in my mind is the comfort, warmth and protection under God’s wings. The current situation you are in today, I am sure you need all these three in your life. You are looking for a comfort that you couldn’t find anywhere, but it can be found under His wings. There are certain things became so cold and frozen in your life, you are thinking that they are not going to revive again. No, in the warmth of His feathers your cold and dead situation is going to resurrect. You need a proper protection for the kind of threat you are facing right now, you will find that protection under the wings of God. Come closer to God and allow Him to cover you with His feathers.

Verse of the day: Psalm 19:5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.

Thought for the day: Some of you don’t like the nights as you will be rolling on the bed without sleep. Some of you don’t want the day to start as you don’t really like your job. Few of you may be sick and really afraid of the pain comes during that part of the day. For some reason you don’t feel like being at home when your husband or wife returns from work. Due to various reasons all of us have hatred towards some part of the day. Look at the sun, it doesn’t care it is Sunday or Monday, it rains or snows, its noon or night, it starts its day with rejoicing. Starting the day without praise and prayer is like riding a bike with no brakes, any time you are at risk. Start the day with praising and rejoicing, you will like the rest of the day.

Verse of the day: Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Thought for the day: Unfortunately, we live in a world where the rates of life insurance policies are higher for senior citizens because they are at higher risk. Even elderly people are denied health care assistance and insurance policies. But look at Isaiah 46:4, our Lord has already written a covenant with us saying that He will carry us even to the old age. What a promise it is! This policy is free of cost as the premium is already paid. His coverage is the best that anyone ever can give. This policy is issued at the cross. The blood mark of Jesus Christ is the identity for the insurance. Come and get insured.
