Thought for the day Archive

Verse of the day: Proverbs 24:13 My son, eat honey because it is good, And the honeycomb which is sweet to your taste;

Thought for the day: Honey is one of the most natural home remedies to treat a wide range of ailments and complaints including yeast infection, athlete foot, and arthritis pain, allergies, anemia, conjunctivitis, coughing, cuts and bruises, digestion problems, fatigue and exhaustion, headaches and migraines, heart diseases, high blood pressure, mouth sores, skin, sore throat, teeth, upset stomach, etc.
Honey is often referred to God’s Word. When God spoke everything was created, nature obeyed Him, life came back into the little girl, the young man and Lazarus, the blind saw, the deaf heard, mute spoke, crippled walked, leprosy was healed, paralysis was healed, lunatic boy got healed, and all kind of diseases were healed. God sent His Word and healed. Even today, there is healing for all sorts of diseases in God’s Word. God’s Word doesn’t just heal the body alone. There is much more than physical healing in God’s Word. It can heal emotional and spiritual complications too. What are you going through today? There is something that could be done without waiting or spending money. Read the Bible, allow God’s Word to work in your body, spirit and soul and experience the deliverance.

Verse of the day: Isaiah 43:19…I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Thought for the day: Magicians make things appear and disappear on the stage to amuse people. In few countries, people run to witch doctors to make the impossible happen. People try to be in contact with the spirit world to predict their future. The enemy by his deceiving nature attracts millions towards his fake accomplishments. In the midst of all these, our Lord says, I will make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Remember this promise or blessing is not for everyone, but for His own people and His chosen ones. The government has no funds allotted for construction of roads in villages, how there can be a road in the wilderness? The rivers and the lakes dry up due to severe extended summer, how there can be a river in the desert? Such is the level of impossibility we experience in our lives. We turn around and see not even a ray of hope. We cry out loud and hear not even a whisper. Frustrated, disappointed and rest assured that this is the end of it. The Lord says, “Since you are mine and as I have chosen you, I am going to do something for you in this situation. I created everything out of nothing. Even today, I call those things which do not exist as though they did.” But the Lord’s question that needs to be answered before receiving this supernatural favor is “Are you mine?”

Verse of the day: James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Thought for the day: When you are alone at home, suddenly you hear someone knocking at your door. You find it is your friend. You get excited and invite him or her to have a nice time in sharing you friendship. On the same night, still you are alone, you hear someone at your door. You understood it is another person who hates you, often curses you and you consider him or her as your enemy. Now standing at your door step and ferociously looking at you. Obviously you don’t open the door. What a difference it makes to deal with a friend and with an enemy. Constantly we hear these two different knocks at our door. But often we fail to identify our enemy who is a deceiver. We allow him to enter in. He comes inside and finds the house is empty, swept clean and kept in order. He observes everything going on. He enjoys the discussions, the songs, the movies, the parties and celebrations. He feels homely and decides to settle there as he doesn’t feel any resistance. My friend…I am talking about the devil. That’s how he gets inside our dwelling place. Once he makes his entry, he will start executing his plans. He will cause sickness, death, loss, fight, debts, rebellion among children, etc. All these could have been avoided by resisting him from entering inside. Do not entertain the devil, resist him and he will flee from you. Prayer, Word of God, fear of God and holiness are the secret weapons to resist the devil.

Verse of the day: Isaiah 42:3 A bruised reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench; He will bring forth justice in truth. (Amplified Bible)

Thought for the day: Everywhere we see people competing with each other. In schools, in offices, in sports, in house even in churches people compete. Exceptional performance is always appreciated. The weak and the dull are always neglected. A teacher likes the brilliant students, a husband likes a smart wife, a coach likes the exceptional performer and an employer likes the employees who exceed expectations. The domination of the excellent group demoralizes the mediocre ones. Due to this reason many are disappointed and discouraged and feel rejected in the society. Many talented individuals are not able to come up in life because they are not influential, financially poor, not good looking, physically handicapped, etc. But today you and I are able to stand and prosper in whatever we do only because our Lord never puts us down. Irrespective of our weakness and our shortfalls, He recognizes us. He never fails to notice the little ability we have within us. He never compares us with others to condemn. He never neglects us and finds someone else. He handles us according to our own ability. We will never be put to shame as long as we trust in Him.

Verse of the day: Proverbs 26:27 If a man digs a pit, he will fall into it; if a man rolls a stone, it will roll back on him.

Thought for the day: We are living in the world we can hardly believe anyone. People who speak well in front of us will speak evil behind us. Outwardly they speak great about us but inwardly they are against us. When we rejoice they appear to be rejoicing with us, but their hearts long to see distress coming upon us. When someone appreciates us, they wait for the next opportunity to rejoice as someone condemns us. Such is the heart of man. Magicians and witch doctors flourish as people approach them to cause evil attacks against families and individuals. If you are a true child of God, any of these plots of men or devil against you will not prosper. If you are a true child of God, you will not react to such attacks rather you will seek God’s protection. When such attacks come against you, if they don’t see the protection of God upon your life, they badly hit you. But when they see the covering of Jesus’ blood upon your life, they take a 180 degree turn and go back and hit the one who caused that evil upon you. It is better to be found in the Lord than to be found out in the world.
